Group Sales Manager, Lancaster Jet Hawks, 2002-2003

 

Parker was the top Group Sales salesperson on the staff during his 18 months with the club selling the “Hit the Books” program to it’s biggest participation ever. He was also a bi-weekly guest on local radio and television, in addition to professionally writing for the team and Arizona Diamondbacks. 

Portland Trail Blazers, Group Salesperson, 2003-2005

 

Matt was promoted from minor league baseball to the NBA as a Group Salesperson where he was introduced to professional sales training courses nationally, including Glen Gelabert Training.  Parker was a professional writer during this time for NBA publications, writing a cover story for NBA Inside Stuff and interviewing Larry Bird, Tony Gwynn, Buzz Aldrin and others.

Windermere Real Estate, Broker, 2005-2012

 

In 2009, 2010 and 2011, the years following the 2008 real estate collapse, Parker was one of the top 5 agents in his area every year, to his knowledge, finishing in first place twice.   He was also, nationally, also a top 5% producer during these years and a 4-time 5 Star Professional.  In his tenure at Windermere, he was featured on news television media three times and in local print media multiple times for his knowledge of the extreme buyers’ market.  Parker worked alongside teammates to deliver cutting-edge photography and video marketing with Image Arts Photo.  Parker has been trained by/with George Beasley, The Ohrt Group and the Keeth Family, all respected businesses within real estate.  

Keller Williams Puget Sound Real Estate, Broker, 2013-Present

In 2013 Parker was the top individual listing agent KWPS and in 2013 and 2014 was again voted a "Seattle's Best Broker" while finishing in the top 2% nationally for gross commissions earned.  He continues to work for internationally acclaimed local celebrities residing in King County while pushing the limits of real estate marketing with drone imagery.   Institute for Luxury Home Marketing

Parker is a fourth generation Burien resident, his relatives fleeing the Russian Revolution and landing in Seahurst,  WA.  He is a founder, active athlete and Certified Instructor at CrossFit Burien.  His mother,  was instrumental in political engagements that preserved Eagle Landing and Lake Burien Parks.  His father, from Evanston, Illinois, came to Seattle after serving in Vietnam.  

Athletics

He is a routine podium racer at local running races and a sponsored Standup Paddle Athlete, having crossed 55-mile Lake Chelan in one day and a record time of 12:30 (Lake Chelan Crossing via SUP), crossed the Maui/Lanai channel via SUP and "podium-ed" the downwind race portion of the Gorge Paddle Challenge.  He has summited the highest mountains in the western and southern hemispheres, Aconcagua, in addition to Cootopaxi, Mt. Rainier, Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams.  Parker has coached multiple youth soccer teams from Burien, WA and basketball teams in Bellingham, WA.  He actively organizes international outdoor adventures.
